♥ The Anticipation Guide Response
Politics and political problems are a subject for adults to deal with
-I think teens should start educating themselves now so they are prepared to make informed choices later on in life. I think we shoudl start learning now and try to help and understand so we actually know what to do when our time comes. If all the grown ups in the world all suddenly disappeared i think we definetely wouldn't cope.
All stories can have a happy ending if those involved work towards it.
-I don't think so, because think about war, it's not like all the victims weren't working hard enough for a happy ending. things just happen. Think about people with malnutrition, its not like their not trying to have food. And let's not forget that the ending for everyone is death, and for most people it's not peacefully in sleep. I think you can achieve happiness but for only a certain time, not forever.
Literacy (being able to read) is a form of freedom.
-Literacy is a form of freedom but think about what you want to read. You can read anything and everything. Getting information from reading gives you progress in your life. But reading only gives information and we have to convert this information for other use and for our benefits. If you can't convert the knowledge you get through reading, then whats the advantage of reading. Read a lot and try to introduce changes into your life according to the information you get. In some countries where girls are not taught how to read or learn or expand their mind, literacy is a form of freedom.
Civilizations without a written language cannot document history
-Of course civilizations without a written language can document history. They can document history by leaving artefacts, carvings, houses etc.

♥ The secret life of .... Katerina Loizidou
On the 13 July just after the school bell rang declaring the end of the school Ms Loizidou said goodbye to her students and emptied out the rest of the classroom. Little did Katerina know that once she returned home she would get a phone call from France’s tennis Olympic team’s coach Guillaume Peyre asking her to fly out to Beijing immediately. 8 years ago Katerina had been ranked no.1 tennis player in France, but then she made a mysterious disappearance and moved to Cyprus when she found out she was pregnant with her eldest son Mario. Katerina was wanted all of a sudden because Frances new no.1 tennis player, Richard Gasquet pulled out of the Olympics, and Katerina was tracked down and was asked to be his replacement. A couple days later Katerina kissed goodbye her boys, and left them at her mother’s house. As Katerina arrived at Larnaca Airport she was mobbed by fans.
When she arrived at Beijing Capital International Airport, Katerina was welcomed by the rest of the french team. She was showed to her apartment at the Olympic Village, and was in heaven. Besides training hard (she was a little rusty, after not playing for a good couple of years), Katerina visited all the usual tourist places, such as the great wall of China, Jin Yuan mall, markets and the Forbidden City. Katerina met her all her favourite athletes, like Michael Phelps, Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, The Williams sisters and loads more. When the time came for Katerina to play in the tournament, Katerina made an amazing comeback and easily made her way to the women’s final.
Katerina’s sons Mario and Emanuel flew to Beijing along with the rest of Katerina's family to see the finals. Katerina was playing Venus Williams, and went onto the courts nervous, and left victorious. The game was close, but Katerina just managed to thrash Venus. Not only did Katerina win the gold medal for France, Katerina also got Rafael Nadal’s phone number. Guillaume Peyre tried to persuade Katerina to start up her career again, but she thought it was a one-off and would miss her students at AISC too much. Katerina wanted to get back to Cyprus as soon as possible, so she could go to the beach with her family before school started, but only after her date with Rafael. When September came around and it was time to go back to school. When students asked what Katerina did over the summer, Katerina said with a smile “Nothing much”.

♥ The Tell Tale Heart
Out of the three videos of the tell tale heart I think the 2nd video was my favorite because it’s gets to the point but is still interesting and the guy's voice gives me the chills. I liked the animation and it really shows his facial expressions well. It gives you the general idea of the story. The first video confused me and was too long and I couldn't keep up with it, the guy's voice did sound mad and convincing, but it took me a while to realize what was going on. I think the last video was funny but I wouldn't of known what on earth he was talking if I hadn't seen the other videos. Basically the first video was too long and boring, the last video was too short and I guess stupid, and the second video gave the right amount of information and was interesting.

Three songs i can't get out of my head that i discovered this week are : 1. Demi Lovato's new single 'Get Back' ( I don't like Demi but this songs really different coming from a disney star, and it's really Catchy. 2.Carrie Underwood, Mariah Carey, Beyoncé, Mary J. Blige, Rihanna, Fergie, Sheryl Crow, Nicole Scherzinger , Natasha Bedingfield, Miley Cyrus, Leona Lewis, Keyshia Cole, Ashanti and Ciara's song for breast cancer 'Just stand up' It's really catchy and it sounds good and interesting with all their voices mixed together, even though miley sounds annoying and you can hear her voice and accent through the whole song but it's still cute. 3.Jonas brothers performing 'Lovebug' at the vmas a couple days ago. I like how it starts out all acousticy on a sesame street like area and then it just gets better when the fans come. The songs also really catchy Eleni x

♥ About Me :)
I'm 13 and I'm from England and I'm a quarter cypriot. I live in Cyprus with my mum and two sisters. I have 3 dogs that live in dubai with my dad. I have a dalmation called Pongo, a jack russel called Jack and a terrier thing called Lady. I Pretty much like any kind of music except heavy metal music. One of my favourite bands, are the Jonas brothers :) My favourite sport is volleyball and then swimming. I've been to Bulgaria to play volleyball. I don't really have a specific favourite movie, i like them all (sometimes) My Best Friends are Sophie, Amy, Ashlee and Mariam. Ashlee is crazy and is also obsessed with the Jonas brothers. My favourite subjects are art and english, but when i'm older i want to study marine biology and animal physcology or zoology at university, and be a animal trainer for like killer whales, seals or dolphins ( I haven't decided yet) Something random and unique about me is that my On my left foot my big toe isn't actually my big toe, it's my second biggest toe :P But my right foot is normal :) I seem quiet and untalkative but i am really actually hyper and weird. I don't show excitement very well , like if im at a concert i'll just stand there and focus on the band and not do anything :P I've been to a couple concerts, like Black eyed Peas, Destiny's Child, Mcfly, Enrique Inglasias, Shakira and Ronan Keating.
