Feeling responsible for someone can be a burden.
Feeling responsible for someone can be a burden, especially if they're an elderly parent, small child, or someone with special needs. Usually as parents age, we are responsible for looking after them, which can be a burden. We should always keep a mind that we were once a burden on them as children. Like many other special needed people, a friend of mine was left by his mother at a young age just because she couldn't handle the care giver burden. Most people can't look after themselves, let alone another person. Being responsible for someone else isn't always a burden, it can also be something great. Being responsible for someone will always be stressy, but raising a child or caring for another family member or person can be enjoyable.
It is more acceptable for women to love their female friends than it is for men to love their male friends.
In the world today, it is more acceptable for women to love female friends than it is for men to love their male friends. This is because women are much more open about their feelings, and a majority of straight men are homophobic. Whilst women hold hands, kiss each others cheeks, and hug, the manly way of showing affection towards friends is a fist bump, or pat on the back. Men usually interpret anything more than this, as 'gay'. And being labelled gay by other male friends ruins a mans ego. Although men don't show their affections the same way as women do, it doesn't mean the affection isn't present.
There are times when euthanasia (mercy killing) can be justified.
Mercy killing is a controversial subject, which many object to. Personally I believe euthanasia should be legal every where. If I was old and in a vegetable like state and a burden to my family, I'd definitely want to end my life than be in pain and just waiting. Of course I think mercy killing should be a matter where consent forms are filled out, rather than having criminals everywhere trying to convince police that 'He wanted me to kill him'. If thinking euthanasia's inhumane, think again about putting your dog down. At least humans can talk and have a say in it. Chosing to have your life taken away from you, especially with long term diseases, such as cancer, is possibly a way of control. Take away your life before it gets rid of you. It's against people's rights to stop them from ending their life. It's much better than having messy suicides, or unfortunate cases like in the past years where widows have been arrested for helping partners end their life.
