Ignorance is Bliss
I agree that ignorance is bliss because if we don't know something it can't hurt us. As we lose our innocence and grow up we become aware of all the pain and cruelty in the world and we try to understand why. We don't know of all the people dying around us, and the truth behind the easter bunny, the tooth fairy, Santa Claus, and where babies really come from. That's why we are generally much happier when we are children because we haven't been exposed to the evils of the world. Life is really great when you don't know what is going on. For example, you're happy in love with your partner, but then you find out they've committed adultery, all that comes from that is pain. If you hadn't found out you'd still be happy regardless of the fact that you're being cheated on. Sometimes its just better not knowing, you don't end up with embarrassment or guilt. Like in the picture above, Luke Skywalker really wouldn't be doing that if he knew Princess Leia is his sister. I would much rather live without knowing I had a few days to live rather than knowing and just waiting for the days in fear, and being upset.
Children learn their behaviors by watching and mimicking adults.

I agree that children do learn their behaviors by watching and mimicking adults. These adults could be their parents, someone on TV, or a random person on the street. Naturally kids act like their parents. Just like the popular saying, 'like father like son'. It's just the environment around them and how they've been raised. First of all kids tend to repeat things they hear just because it sounds funny, or just to be annoying. They learn by copying adults whether it's gestures or how to talk and how to behave around others. After observing their parents reactions, kids may swear when they are frustrated just because they've seen their parents do it. Kids these days seem to have no restrictions as to what they see on the TV or the internet, making an affect on how they act, talk, and try to dress. They try copy what celebrities such as Lady Gaga do. Here is an example of how Lady Gaga's dress sense has influenced Will Smith's 10 year old daughter.
